Artist Statement

My practice centers on the exploration of portraiture and abstraction, primarily through the medium of acrylics on canvas and brown paper. My work delves into the themes of happiness, healing, and harmony, creating visual narratives that evoke introspection and a sense of interconnectedness.

Through a considered balance of dynamic compositions, textured surfaces, and evocative colour palettes, my art seeks to illuminate the complexities of human emotion and collective experience. The interplay between structured forms and intuitive processes reflects the fluid nature of thought and emotion, offering viewers a space to connect with their inner worlds.

Abstraction is another element of my practice, serving as both a conceptual and therapeutic framework. By embracing the unpredictability of the medium, I aim to create works that transcend representational boundaries, inviting open interpretation and emotional resonance.

Ultimately, my work embodies a pursuit of harmony—within the self, among individuals, and throughout society. It is my aspiration that each piece serves as a catalyst for reflection, connection, and renewal.
